Ludlow Commons

Welcome to Ludlow Commons, a beacon of supportive housing for seniors managed by the Human Services Council. Situated in East Norwalk, Ludlow Commons embodies our commitment to elevating the lives of seniors aged 62 and above. Our mission goes beyond providing accommodation; we focus on fostering independence, creating a caring community, and ensuring a high quality of life for our residents. The Norwalk Housing Authority has recognized Ludlow Commons as one the best run facilities in the city.

About the Program

Originally the Ludlow Elementary School, Ludlow Commons was transformed into a haven for seniors in 1995, offering 44 one-bedroom apartments tailored for comfortable, independent living. This state-funded program, owned by the Norwalk Housing Authority and managed by HSC, provides a secure and nurturing environment for our senior residents with maximum income restrictions. We believe in empowering our senior residents to lead fulfilling, independent lives. Our dedicated staff members provide support, companionship, and assistance as needed, ensuring that every resident receives the care they deserve while maintaining their autonomy.
