Jasmine Prezzie, MSW is the Director of the Norwalk Mentor Program at the Human Services Council.  Jasmine received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and has 7 years of working with adults and families in the region. Before coming to HSC, she served as the Fatherhood Program Coordinator at Saint Joseph Parenting Center of Stamford,  recruiting and training facilitators for parenting classes while providing case management and advocacy for parents. The importance of mentoring has always been a passion for Jasmine and she performed volunteer work at Norwalk’s George Washington Carver Center, Norwalk’s I Have A Dream Program, and served on the Person-to-Person Scholarship Committee. As Director of the Norwalk Mentor Program, Jasmine recruits and trains new mentors, who are then matched with students in the Norwalk Public Schools. She coordinates the program throughout all 19 Norwalk Public Schools. Jasmine is a graduate of Norwalk Public Schools and was a mentee in the Norwalk Mentor Program and had a mentor for over 10 years. Jasmine joining HSC has truly become a full circle moment.
